Divided into three sections, Bill Morrison's The Highwater Trilogy examines our relationship to the threat of natural disaster by combining archival footage of icebergs, hurricanes, and floods with a soundtrack by David Lang and Michael Gordon.

An award-winning filmmaker, Morrison has seven titles in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art, including Decasia, which was named one of the ten best films of 2003 by the Village Voice's J. Hoberman. Morrison's work has been screened at venues across the globe, including the Tate Modern, Lincoln Center, the Whitney Museum, and the Smithsonian's Hirshhorn Museum. His films have also been broadcast on television and featured at international film festivals worldwide.

Rush will be offered when advanced tickets for a screening or event are no longer available at venues other than Beacon Theatre.
The Rush system functions as a standby line that will form at the venue approximately one hour prior to scheduled start time. Admittance is based on availability and will begin roughly 10 minutes prior to program start time. Rush Tickets are the same price as advance tickets and are payable upon entry.
