Tribeca All Access at TFF 2009
Made possible by Bloomberg, Tribeca All Access (TAA) fosters relationships between film industry executives and filmmakers from traditionally underrepresented communities in the industry. Entering its sixth year, TAA provides participating directors and screenwriters the opportunity to present their upcoming works in one-on-one meetings with more than 100 registered industry executives. As a continuous effort, Tribeca All Access will also host six international filmmakers selected by the UK Film Council, Screen Australia, and Canadian Film Centre.
In addition to the scheduled panels and workshops, TAA will present its Creative Promise Award and The L’Oréal Paris Women of Worth Vision Award, totaling $55,000 in juried cash awards. Other support for our alumni includes TAA On Track—an expansion of the program designed to provide year-round support through yearly events, access to film equipment and services, support screenings and special presentations of work-in-progress.

Since its founding in May 2004, Tribeca All Access has supported the careers of over 155 filmmakers. This year, two TAA alumni were selected to premiere their films at the 2009 Tribeca Film Festival in the Discovery section. A third TAA alum was selected to provide a work-in-progress screening, which will be followed by a talk with the filmmaker and other guest speakers. The films are listed below.
TAA is made possible by Bloomberg. Additional support is provided by Time Warner, L'Oreal Paris, the New York State Council on the Arts and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.
