Tribeca Film On Demand Launches Today!

Tribeca Film

We've been telling you about our new initiatives, and you heard even more about it at this week's press conference, but today is the first day you can actually experience one of them for yourselves.

Tribeca Film
, our innovative new distribution venture with Founding Partner American Express®, launches today in 40 million homes across the country. Whether your cable provider is Time Warner Cable, Cox, Comcast, Cablevision (iO), RCN, or Verizon Fios, you now have access to our initial slate of films On Demand. Other providers include DirecTV Cinema, Brighthouse Networks, Bresnan, Amazon On Demand, and Vudu. Click here to find out how to acccess the films in your neighborhood.

What are the movies you can see? For the first time, movie fans across the country can access seven titles from the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival, which have not even screened in New York City yet! If you watch these titles tonight, you will see them before anyone else (bragging rights! Twitter!)... Learn more about sex & drugs & rock & roll, Climate of Change, The Birth of Big Air, The Infidel, Metropia, The Trotsky, and Road, Movie.

Other titles include four favorites from TFF 2009: TiMER, My Last Five Girlfriends, The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia, and The Swimsuit Issue. We've also found another gem along the way: The Immaculate Conception of Little Dizzle.

We are delighted to be entering the On Demand world, and hope you'll join us, making Tribeca Film a unique success. Turn on your TV, and welcome to our neighborhood!

No Good Tickets Left by Ronnnnnnn on April 21, 2010 05:50 PM
I love the festival, however I don't have an American Express card, and by the time the tickets were available to the 'general public' (AKA 'The Peons') -- all the good tickets and dates/times were taken! If nothing else, you should include ALL of the movies ON DEMAND.
Tickets still available by Editors on April 21, 2010 05:55 PM
Hi Ron -- We are adding screenings each day, so please keep checking back! We will announce which films have tickets available each day on Facebook and Twitter. We hope you will join us: facebook.com/tribecafilm and @TribecaFilmFest. Hope to see you at the Festival.
How do you access On Demand on Time Warner? by Brian S. on April 22, 2010 11:20 PM
I looked at TW On Demand and did not see Tribeca Film Fest there. How do you access these films?
Time Warner by Editors on April 24, 2010 08:51 AM
Hi -- On this page, there is a Tribeca channel. http://www.twondemand.com/movies/. It should tell you where to find the on demand movies as well. Enjoy!

I went to the TimeWarner sight and found the film I wanted but could only find previews. Do you know the direct link to download the full movie?
TWC by Trixie on April 24, 2010 10:11 AM
You will need to ask TWC, but I think you have to watch it on your TV, in the movies channel. Try channel 1000?
