TFF 2010 Pickup: Open House

Great news! TFF 2010 thriller Open House, from writer/director Andrew Paquin, has been acquired for North American distribution by Grindstone Entertainment Group. According to indieWIRE, the Lionsgate partner will put the film in theaters in August.
Open House, a taut psychological thriller that marks Paquin's feature debut, features Rachel Blanchard as a young woman held captive in the crawlspace of her own home by a pair of psychopaths, Brian Geraghty (The Hurt Locker) and Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica). The film also features cameos by real-life couple Anna Paquin (the director is her brother) and Stephen Moyer, both currently of True Blood fame.

I am thrilled that this film will be distributed in theaters this summer. I am a fan of TB, and I loved Mr. Geraghty's work in Hurt Locker.
