TFF '09 Ticket Packages
ShareBy now you've read about the 2009 Tribeca Film Festival, which promises to be every bit as thrilling as years past, with a little something for everyone. Tribeca Film Festival-goers have a plethora of choices when it comes to ticket packages this year, including three advance selection and eight discount ticket packages.
American Express® Cardmembers can purchase advance selection ticket packages today, Monday, March 9, and the general public can follow suit next Monday, March 16. Single tickets and discount ticket packages go on sale April 14 for American Express® Cardmembers, April 19 for Downtown residents, and April 20 for the general public.
The 2009 Tribeca Film Festival will take place from April 22 to May 3 in lower Manhattan.
Advance Ticket Selection Packages
With advance selection ticket packages, Tribeca Film Festival fans get first crack at the screenings they want to attend by reserving tickets ahead of the general public. Packages are now available for American Express® Cardmembers, all films must be selected by April 10, 2009.
Programmers Picks Ticket Package ($250)
Can't decide which movies to see? Let the programmers pick films for you! This package includes two general or matinee tickets to six Festival films, handpicked by the Tribeca Film Festival Programming Team, based on your input.
Harrison Ticket Package ($225.00)
This package guarantees early online ticket selection for ten individual general or matinee screenings. Maximum four tickets per screening.
Franklin Ticket Package ($425.00)
This package guarantees early online ticket selection for 20 individual general or matinee screenings. Maximum four tickets per screening.
Discount Ticket Packages
Discount ticket packages offer a wide variety of ways to experience the 2009 Tribeca Film Festival, offering both a reduced ticket price and the ability to select films by area of interest. Discount packages go on sale for American Express® Cardmembers on April 14th, tickets for the general public go on sale April 20th.
Opening Weekend Ticket Package ($105)
Be an insider at this TFF 2009 from the start! This package includes two general tickets to one film on Friday, April 24; two films on Saturday, April 25; and one film on Sunday, April 26.
Matinee Ticket Package ($40.00)
Have free time during the day? This package includes six matinee screening tickets, two tickets per performance. Matinees are defined as all screenings before 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Late Night Films Ticket Package ($40.00)
Are you a night owl? This package includes six late-night film screening tickets, two tickets per performance. Late-night screenings happen at 11:00 pm or later, every day of the Festival.
Matinee Documentary Film Fan Package ($40.00)
Do you prefer truth over fiction? This package includes six matinee tickets to any documentary film in the Festival, two tickets per performance. Matinees are defined as all screenings before 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Documentary Film Fan Package ($75.00)
Is truth really stranger than fiction? This package includes six general screening tickets to any documentary film in the Festival, two tickets per performance.
Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival Ticket Package ($45.00)
Do Hoosiers and Rudy make you cry every time? Then this package is for you, as it includes four general tickets to films playing in the Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival, two tickets per performance.
Award Winners Screening Package ($45.00)
Let the jury decide. This ticket package guarantees that you will see the Best of the Fest, as it includes four general tickets to award-winning films playing on Sunday, May 3 (two tickets per performance). You must choose the award category you wish to see, as winners will not be announced until April 30.
Music Fan Package ($75.00)
Do movies rock your world? This package includes six general screening tickets to any music film playing in the Festival, two tickets per performance.
Single Tickets
Single tickets for the Festival will be $15.00 for evening and weekend screenings, and $8.00 for daytime weekday (before 6:00 pm) and late-night (11:00 pm or later) screenings.
Ticket/Package Dates and Purchase Information
Advance selection ticket packages are on sale today for American Express® Cardmembers, and will be available to the general public on Monday, March 16. All advance packages can be purchased online at www.TribecaFilm.com/Festival, or by telephone, toll free, at (866) 941-FEST (3378).
Single ticket sales begin for American Express® Cardmembers on April 14; for downtown residents on April 19, and for the general public on April 20. Single tickets can be purchased online, by telephone, or at one of the following ticket outlets: the Tribeca Cinemas Ticket Window at 54 Varick Street, and the AMC Village VII Ticket Window at 66 Third Avenue. Downtown residents can only purchase tickets with a discount at the Tribeca Cinemas ticket window.
Discounted packages can only be purchased online and by phone. Discounted packages go on sale for American Express® Cardmembers on April 14th, tickets for the general public go on sale April 20th.
