Surf: Festival News Roundup 10

The Tribeca news is coming at you fast and furious, and we're just trying to keep up (before our morning coffee)!
The Huffington Post has two fun Festival pieces: one, Dan Fogler writing about his inspirations for Hysterical Psycho, and two, a slideshow where you can place your vote on the best-dressed at the Vanity Fair party. More celebs at premiere gossip site Oh No They Didn't has photos from the CHANEL and Tribeca Film Festival Artists' Dinner.
The Epoch Times reviews the "elegant" Departures. Hammer to Nail reviews Defamation.
Gawker has introducted a "stalking TFF" feature via Twitter, where you can presumably get film industry professionals' reactions to the event in real time. Currently, I guess they're karaoke-ing. My guess is that it may get interesting after tonight? The awesome ladies at Jezebel review the Whatever Works fashions. Juror Debra Messing does look fantabulous!
No surprise, the cats over at Vanity Fair have superlative coverage: while you should just follow their blog, catch up on their Whatever Works reactions, reports from parties from Vanity Fair to Whatever Works, and their hilarious "ten to watch."
Andrew O' Hehir from Salon has his typically insighful commentary on Festival stuff so far: first, a piece on the Sundance/Tribeca industry gossip, and second, recommendations of Festival films like Antoine, The Fish Child (yes. It's quite good), Defamation, and The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia.
The New York Times stalks the Whatever Works premiere with video.
Breaking news: Variety reports that The Lost Son of Havana (which premiered last night) has been picked up for distribution from ESPN. Catch it on the channel in August. Might it be one of the few films to unite Yankees and Red Sox fans?
