MOFILM Video Competiton

Calling all Filmmakers:
Over $100,000 in prizes for the MOFILM Video Competition!
Well known for giving filmmakers a platform to showcase their work, and having pioneered 'make an ad' competitions with major brands and social causes, MOFILM is calling all filmmakers to compete in an amazing video competition leading up to this year's Tribeca Film Festival. Up for grabs is over $100,000 in prizes, including passes to the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival, tickets to the MOFILM red carpet movie premiere, and an all expenses paid trip to New York!
MOFILM have pioneered mobile film since their creation in early 2007, following a successful collaboration between the mobile industry and the Sundance Institute, hence the name. Today MOFILM distributes short video content to over 95 countries around the world on mobile. However, more recently they've become known for their film community online, which has resulted in successful collaborations with New York's own Spike Lee, Robert Redford, Isabella Rossellini and Kevin Spacey.
The MOFILM community have also been active for social causes. Recently MOFILM teamed up with Avatar and Titanic producer Jon Landau to make a charity ad for mental health and anti-suicide charity the J.E.D. Foundation, which went on to star at the TED Conference in Long Beach, CA. In fact, their collaboration with Jon Landau continues with more charity ads to come.
Watch out for some of the winning filmmakers too: Abe Forsythe, who won the recent MOFILM Barcelona competition with his ad GPS (for Pepsi), went on to win Australia's prestigious Tropfest competition. Henry Scholfield, from the UK, won the recent 'Make an Ad' competition in Barcelona with his ad titled Samsung Changed My Life.
If you think you can do better, or just like a creative challenge, why not take a look at the seven major brands who are offering amazing prizes in the Tribeca Competiton? These include: Best Buy, Chex Mix, Kodak, Lamisil, Nature Valley, Nokia, and Voltaren.
To enter, visit the website and download the brand briefs. The competition ends on April 5, so get your friends together and submit your video soon!
You must be over 16 to enter a MOFILM Competition.
