Doha TFF Site Launches

As we've been telling you, the first Doha Tribeca Film Festival is set for October 29 to November 1 of this year, and the team in Qatar just launched their fantastic new website! Doha TFF also has an active Fan Page on Facebook, and they have been posting updates on Twitter as well.
The site is both informative and entertaining, with videos and details about the country, the region, the people, plans for the Festival, and more. Bookmark the link so you can be the first to learn about the Doha TFF program, events, and guests.
What first attracted us to this project is that its mission so closely dovetails with what we at Tribeca stress in our New York Festival: creating and growing audiences for independent film, and most importantly, the belief that film can be an agent of cross-cultural understanding.
The stunning Museum of Islamic Art, designed by legendary architect IM Pei, will be the centerpiece of the Festival, housing screenings, conversations, and parties. Pictures don’t really do it justice, so you have to head over to Doha and see it for yourself.
