TKA Reporters' Blog: Our City, My Story

Samantha

What do Tribeca Kids Access reporters do to kill time? We make ourselves laugh, especially tonight, at the premier of Our City, My Story. As Egan and I were doing our in introductions we always got mixed up with the lines, we each did something hilariously wrong. Egan's voice cracked every time and, I just couldn't say Our City, My Story, I always mixed up lines, I ended up saying and we're at the waffle house. This went on for 45 minutes straight.

Sandy got popcorn and most of it ended up making its way to the red carpet, covering the vibrant red floor. (Lots of wind) We were the red carpet litter bugs. I couldn't stop laughing, I began to form tears in my eyes from laughing so hard. This was a night I would never forget.

Tonight, we met with groups of students from the Tribeca Film Institute. In groups of 2-5 students each, they all made a short documentary about each one of the five boroughs. To each member of the groups, we asked what his or her favorite borough was. In order of the most heard to the least heard, it was Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn (I would have to agree on Manhattan being the number one favorite, since it is mine as well! Maybe some day I can make my own documentary about Manhattan).
