Aloha!
Downtown Youth Behind the Camera was really fun! A lot of kids from my school were there, too!! It was really funny because Gavin was there, but not as a reporter! He was walking the carpet because he had a film in the program called JOE DANCE! Truman got to interview him.
I had a blast learning about all the different films and young filmmakers. I even interviewed a former kid reporter and he had some really interesting things to say!
I was wearing sandals and the red carpet felt really soft underneath my feet! Jeffrey, Truman and I all had a good morning! Goodbye for now!
Love,

I was back on the red carpet with Abril and Truman for Downtown Youth Behind the Camera and this time, I was interviewing kids! I was less nervous interviewing kids than adults, because they all seemed just like me. The only difference between me and the kids I interviewed is that they get to make awesome movies! They all told me that their teachers and parents were very proud of them, and that making movies was a new and exciting experience.
After the interviews, we got to watch the movies. They were all great, but my favorite was Joe Dance, a stop-motion animation made with Legos! Can you guess who made the film? It was our very own reporter Gavin Zinzell! I wonder if he will decide to be a reporter or a filmmaker when he grows up. Maybe he will do both!
