Being a reporter is really exciting, especially when it's your first time. I had that feeling last week when I reported on the new Family Festival Street Fair set-up. It is really fun to be on the street in your T-shirt and press badge reporting with your friends watching like they're in a whole different world. I really liked the feeling of support from everyone around me and the fact that no one laughed when I got my lines wrong.
I think it is really great that kids can be reporters and I hope others kids get to enjoy this experience too.
