Getting Around Town
Going from one place to another can be complicated in a city as large as New York. Use these helpful links to alleviate your transportational worries.
Subway Map
The New York City Subway is usually your best bet for getting around, but you’re going to need a map. Open 24 hours per day, it will take you anywhere in the five burroughs for only $2. Consider also a 7-day Unlimited Ride MetroCard for $25.
Dial 7 car service
If you need to get somewhere fast and don’t mind the extra expense, take a car service. Taxis are generally easy to hail on the street, but if you want to make sure you’re on time to an event or the airport, make a reservation online or by calling (212) 777-7777.
