Subway Map
The New York City Subway is usually your best bet for getting around, but you’re going to need a map. Open 24 hours per day, it will take you anywhere in the five burroughs for only $2. Consider also a 7-day Unlimited Ride MetroCard for $25.

If you need to get somewhere fast and don’t mind the extra expense, take a car service. Taxis are generally easy to hail on the street, but if you want to make sure you’re on time to an event or the airport, make a reservation online or by calling (212) 777-7777.
