Watch: The 2011 Tribeca Awards Show
The names of the winners of the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival awards were announced on Thursday, April 28, after a brief awards ceremony at the W Hotel near New York’s Union Square. The banquet hall was packed with filmmakers, talent, and industry, as Tribeca Film Festival Executive Director Nancy Schafer and host Gideon Yago stepped onstage at the Awards Show—an event Yago dubs one of his “personal favorite rites of spring.” 
The Festival Jury’s decisions may have been made public a few weeks ago, but we want to make sure you had the chance to experience the glitz and glam of the Awards Show for yourself. Tune into the Live From… channel on Tribeca (Online) to watch the archived video of the awards in its entirety. See awards presented by Tribeca Enterprises' Chief Creative Officer Geoff Gilmore, Tribeca Jury Member and comedian Denis Leary, Tribeca founders Jane Rosenthal and Robert De Niro, Oscar-winning director of The Cove, Louis Psihoyos, and many other esteemed members of the Tribeca family.
We won’t explicitly reveal the winners here—what fun would watching the Awards Show be if we did?—but you can always check out the list of winners (MAJOR spoiler alert!) plus some additional jury comments a bit later.
