In 2011, Avicii took the world by storm with his groundbreaking hits, setting records and captivating audiences with his infectious electronic dance music. Tim Bergling’s unlikely story is handled with passion and understanding in this film directed by 2020 Tribeca alum Henrik Burman (Yung Lean: In My Head), diving deep into Avicii's meteoric rise to fame. Through never-before-seen tour footage and behind-the-scenes glimpses of his creative process, viewers are immersed in the high-energy world of EDM and the massive concerts that became synonymous with Avicii's name.

The film honors his brilliant and peaceful nature, highlighting the impact of his innovative music that blended genres and pushed boundaries. While fans and family still mourn his passing, Avicii's legacy lives on through his irreducible imprint on the industry and music lovers worldwide. Interviews with fellow artists, friends, and family, along with narration provided by Tim's own voice, add an extraordinary layer to the film as we get to know the man behind the music.––Casey Baron
